Patricia J. Leva is President & CEO of Junior Achievement of Central Upstate New York, Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering financial literacy, workforce preparedness and entrepreneurship programs in grades K-12.
She works regularly with business, academic and community leaders to increase the impact of JA programs in a 25-county region, from Rochester to Syracuse and Binghamton through the Southern Tier.
Under her leadership, contact time with students has increased over 100%. She successfully merged the 15-county Syracuse operation, and has increased the financial stability of the entire organization, including the formation of a Board Restricted Fund that has grown to over $400k. The organization has been the recipient of the prestigious JA USA “Peak Performance Award”, given to only 12 of 115 offices, an unprecedented four years in a row. She has served on many JA national and international committees.
